The Caribbean Associations Group was invited by the Mayor’s Office to attend A Service Of Peace and Remembrance on Sunday 12th November at The Reading Minster of St Mary’s Virgin.
After the service the congregation were invited to the Forbury Cenotaph for the Act of Remembrance.
The Caribbean Associations Group was represented by Jeff Jones – Chair and David Vaughan Barbados and Friends Association. Annette Levy – Chair of The Jamaica Society and Friends, Marcella John – Deputy Chair and Janice Lampkin of St Vincent and the Grenadines Association and Friends in the laying of a wreath for the fallen Caribbean and African service people during conflicts.
